Aims and likely Cross Border benefits of the project:The aim of the ‘String it together’ project is to bring young string players from Donegal and Tyrone together to experience and develop ensemble playing both within the classical and traditional music genres.

Project Objectives:

• To enable participants to develop their ensemble playing skills and exhibit these skills at two concerts.
• To build on and enhance existing participant musical skills
• To enhance participant performance skills
• To provide disadvantaged participants to progress with their musical training.
• To develop mutual appreciation of both musical traditions
