Aims and likely Cross Border benefits of the project:

This project will bring together 16 people (8 from each area) from Doneghmore & Ramelton areas to work together to produce a short film promoting the two areas around the ‘flight of the earls’ theme.

This programme will incorporate aspects of film making from the story board and initial ideas stage, going through to include editing and producing techniques, culminating in the concept of the project ‘Script to Screen’. The course delivery will include script writing planning of storyboard, identification of key messages and planning for on-location recording. The “Flight of the Earls” theme builds upon existing links between Tyrone and Donegal. The Script to Screen will project include elements of tourism, culture, heritage and embracing shared stories from all sections of the community.

Project Objectives:

• To develop, produce and deliver 3 workshops combining concept, ideas generation, script writing, film production and film release.
• To develop cross border links between Tyrone and Donegal
• To produce a community lead film promoting Tyrone and Donegal
