Aims and likely Cross Border benefits of the project:

• To assist the partners with the implementation of a renewable energy policy and action plan for their projects

Project Objectives:

• Identify energy saving measures which can be implemented quickly and easily
• Identifying which renewable energy technologies will be suitable for the partner’s projects
• Estimate the long-term savings of installing renewable energy
• Establish the cost involved in installing and maintaining these technologies
• Identify possible sources of funding for the installation of these technologies
• New cross border relationships formed between the partners
• New cross-border relationships formed between the extended community groups who use the facilities encouraging co-operation between the populations of Tyrone & Donegal
• Opportunities for further collaboration identified
• Learning from each other and exchanging ideas, experiences and best practice
