“Length of the Lough” is a proposed initiative that will develop strategic partnerships and the opportunity to create positive marketing opportunities across the Donegal / Tyrone focus area working within two dedicated themes of:

• Heritage projects.
• Genealogy.

Project Objectives:

• To create strategic partnerships and the development of a network in the Tyrone / Donegal to enhance the rural tourism structure
• To work directly with business, community, heritage groups and interested individuals in the Lifford/ Strabane / Inishowen areas to focus on the themes of
• a. Heritage
• b. Genealogy
• To engage statutory agencies in the project.
• To deliver two seminars within the declared themes.
