Aims and likely Cross Border benefits of the project:

• To increase the marketing skills of the 2 boxing clubs in an effort to improve their income generating capacity and sustainability.

Project Objectives:

• To enhance the marketing capacity of the 2 boxing clubs with a view to improving their sustainability by providing relevant training to club management committees and interested members (boxers).
• To increase the motivation and interest of members by providing specialised boxing coaching facilitating the improvement of their boxing skill / technique and the skills of their club coaches.
• To publicise various aspects of the project monthly during the project phase to capitalise on innovative elements of the programme i.e. the cross border partnership, the specialised training, the exchanges between Buncrana and Kildress clubs.
• To raise the profile of the clubs and build momentum towards the tournaments through the marketing and promotional efforts.
• To attract 5-6 new members to each club. Total number of new members 12.
• To identify realistic cross border sustainability opportunities for the clubs as informed by the implementation of this project e.g. the establishment of an annual cross border Tournament.
