GAP and Glens Development Group
Aims and likely Cross Border benefits of the project:
- Joint promotion of the Gap and Glens tourism initiatives
Project Objectives:
- To support the development of an activity tourism product by the Glens Group, the first “Glens Challenge”, for launch in 2007 attracting 50-60 participants.
- To agree a promotional plan and budget allocations across an agreed range of marketing / promotional activities.
- To implement the agreed promotional plan.
- To purchase safety and professional timing equipment that can be used in both challenges in 2007.
- To increase participants in the “GAP Challenge” by 50%, attracting more teams from all counties in Ireland including Northern Ireland, and abroad.
